Does anyone have any experience in Corporate divestitures relating to G&A expenses and how these are handled.

In relations to gov con, are there required G&A expenses specifically related to the business entity for fulfilling federal contracts other than what is currently an expense for the business unit?

I have advised 7 public cos on divestitures, one of which was a defense contractor. Even the most straight forward divestitures can be pretty messy. There are stranded costs, assignable costs, stand up costs, and transition services agreements. Happy to discuss if helpful.
