I’ve seen some recent posts in the group about setting up mass cold email campaigns for general business prospecting, searching, or other reasons. Over the past 1.5 years, I’ve sent over 500,000 cold emails, and it has been the main catalyst for my company’s growth to $48k mrr in that time
Here’s a complete tutorial I made (52 minutes)—from setting up your first domain to sending out your first (email) campaign: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyHx4N4w6s8

Some people will have different ways of doing mass cold emails; this has just been my proven method, so feel free to copy it. If you think it could be improved, please comment your thoughts below.

P.S. You’ll notice there isn’t strong personalization in this (e.g., using Clay or Airtable for enrichment). In my opinion, as long as you clearly articulate the real problems your prospect is facing, plug in your unique value proposition, add some social proof, and use a warm and light CTA, you should be good. If you have a strong offer, this becomes even more true.

If you want to hyper-personalize using the prospect's recent LinkedIn posts, website reviews, etc., you can. Just know that building these enrichment tables is a skill in itself, and it's easy to make mistakes. In my subjective opinion, if you have a minuscule TAM or If you’re only working with 20 leads you might as well handwrite the emails and be as creative/accurate as possible for each.

Final notes –

1) Please research CAN-SPAM compliance

2) Never use your company’s main domain for sending cold emails

3) Always verify your leads before running a campaign with them

4) Stop sending emails through an email user if reputation goes below 90 (https://www.smartlead.ai/blog/how-to-improve-email-sender-reputation)

5) Consistently perform deliverability tests

6) Use Spintax

7) Don't send "Follow Up" or "Checking in" emails - Send new emails with new subjects (Try not to send more than 2-3 emails in a campaign)
