From Research to Execution: Building My ETA Deal Pipeline

Hi Everyone! Over the past several weeks, I’ve been spending a significant amount of time refining my approach to Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition and moving from research into active execution. I’m currently focused on acquiring a profitable, cash-flowing business in Ontario in the $1M to $3M EBITDA range. My search is centered on businesses with strong fundamentals where I can step in as an owner-operator, stabilize operations, and build long-term value. Recently, I’ve shifted my efforts toward direct, relationship-driven sourcing. I’ve begun building a targeted pipeline of owner-operated businesses across healthcare-adjacent services, light manufacturing, and B2B services, and have started initiating conversations with business owners directly. At the same time, I’ve been deepening my understanding of deal structuring, including how transactions come together through a combination of senior debt, seller financing, and equity. As I continue progressing, I’m focused on building relationships with a small group of aligned investors who value long-term ownership and thoughtful execution. I’m still early in the process, but fully committed and actively building momentum.
