I recently acquired and have been using a free software called Tangle (https://www.tangle.work/) designed specifically for small businesses, which has proven really beneficial in my business, so thought I'd share here.
Essentially, you say "Hi John" and only John will hear your message (none of the others in your team) and you can commence a dialogue with John. It also has transparent avatars at the top of your screen, so you can see who's on the phone and who's away from their desk.
It's saved me quite a bit of time, as quick questions can be resolved in 30 seconds, rather than a 5-minute phone call.
The way I use it, is if you were sitting next to someone and had quick questions to ask them a couple times a day. "Hey did we get an answer on the consignment stock". "Hey where are we with transferring the vehicles to the new entity".
I don't use this functionality, but you can say "Hey John, can we jump in a meeting". Once John OK's it, both of you will automatically be taken into the video meeting
