What is everyone's favorite source for finding franchise resale opportunities? I have not really found any centralized source for this yet. Perhaps because this does not exist?

The vast majority of franchisees looking to sell get acquired by neighboring franchisees. Think about it this way. If a franchise resale makes it to the public, that means no other franchisee within the system wanted it. Lots of red flags if a franchise acquisition opportunity gets to the public.

many if not most established (and some emerging) franchise brands have someone on the team that has a list of potentially available territories for sale. franchisees will often let the franchisor know of an interest to sell because zors have the right to match the offer that needs to be waived as part of the resale transaction.
