Fractional CFO

Has anyone hired a fractional CFO? Would love to connect to hear about your experience.

Further clarification - I'm looking to chat with someone (an owner or someone else in the C-suite) who has hired a fractional CFO. I've already identified the person we plan to hire. I'm looking for best practices around integrating them into my current leadership team.

I have not hired one but I have referred several colleagues to one that they had great experiences with. I used to work at a company that offered fractional C-suite placements (not CFO's), a great source of higher level short-term support, totally see a place for this in the early stages of of some of my acquisitions.

We worked with 2-3 Fractional CFO at Imprint and struggled, and then build our own Fractional CFO service to serve our SMB book of business at our agency.

Our Fractional CFO team we now have is built of Wharton graduates, ex-Blackstone employees with experience taking companies public, and CFO experience helping build companies to $100 million run rate.
