Great space to be looking at. These businesses can be very attractive when unit economics and execution are well understood. One thing I’d emphasize early in diligence is separating true job-level margins by service line (stabilization vs. waterproofing vs. encapsulation), and understanding how much EBITDA is driven by: - Sales effectiveness and close rates - Crew productivity and utilization - Estimator discipline and pricing consistency - Rework, warranty, and callback rates In a lot of foundation and waterproofing businesses, the biggest risks (and upside) sit in sales process, pricing discipline, and field execution, not just the headline margins.
