Hey SearchFunder community — I've been lurking for a few months and finally making it official. I'm Dewanshi, a self-funded searcher based in the Bay Area, and I went full-time on this in April. I left a high-paying, stable Big tech job to want to build something that's mine. Feels equal parts terrifying and right. ? 🚀 A little about where I'm coming from: 15+ years as a senior operator at Meta and Google. Growth, product marketing, analytics, large cross-functional teams. I've owned billion-dollar revenue targets, built systems from zero to one, and scaled them exponentially. I can walk into an operation, and read its systems fast. Where I am in the search: 💼 I've been heads-down — 60+ businesses evaluated across 10+ industry categories, 2 LOIs submitted, a diligence framework I feel genuinely good about. Banking and lending feels sorted and choosing to go through a CA state guarantee program, and combination of SBLOC. 🤝 My partner in life and my CFO, Shwetabh — and genuinely the secret weapon in this search. 20 years in tech, early Google search engineer, Cornell MBA, Senior product leader, took two companies public including ServiceTitan. Which means he knows field services businesses from the inside out. He is a technical product leader with deep commercial experience in building complex SaaS platforms in the trades vertical. What I'm targeting: -- $1.5M–$3.5M businesses, SDE $500K+ -- Field services, trades, B2B services, specialty services, education -- Move-in ready and fixer-uppers both welcome -- Self-funded + CA state guarantee program Where I need the most help: deal flow. 🔍 What I'm hungry for is more quality pipeline — off-market leads, broker relationships, and anyone who's cracked the code on consistent sourcing. If you're a Bay Area or NorCal searcher and want to grab coffee, I'm genuinely up for it. And if you've figured out deal flow and are willing to share — I will return the favor in every way I can. Happy to be here. This community has already taught me a lot from the sidelines. Looking forward to learning in person now. 🙌 — Dewanshi
