Fleet/Equipment Due Diligence Providers

Does anybody have a referral for somebody who can help inspect physical assets (trucks and other equipment), opine on useful life and/or replacement capex requirements, and help provide market value for underwriting.

^redacted‌ for a lot of trucks and other heavy equipment, there's a robust used market that you can look at to quickly and easily find pretty good market value comps. Ritchie Brothers, Machinery Trader are a couple I've used. Re: someone to inspect equipment, I found a former operator who had done every job in the business to some take a look and opine on it. If you can find that through your network, I think it's better than a "professional" inspector who provides more specific insights and also potentially could be a resource post-transaction.
