I have found a business with solid financials. I have a couple of potential local backers but can only raise 10-20% of purchase price. Totally new to this and don't want to spook or turnoff any investors... reputations matter afterall.

I need someone who can guide me through the process. Thanks

If you are looking for investors: From my experience, many mid-market private equity firms are willing to back the majority of a deal with a new operator in place. I have also been told that some of the larger search fund investors will finance a self-funded searcher's deal.

As for transaction support: If you want a sophisticated, interim financial advisor to help guide you through this process, you may want to try Toptal - it is a freelancing platform that vigorously screens the workers it puts forward on its platform. It may not come cheap though.
