Finding Prior Employees of the Target Company?

Does anyone have a way of finding the former employees of a target acquisition company? These are employees that have been terminated, either voluntarily or involuntarily. You can do this with LinkedIn if you search with the "Previous Employer" toggle, but what if the company's employees aren't on LinkedIn (such as plumbers).
