Finance Executive Entering ETA | Accounting & Advisory Firm Acquisitions
Good afternoon everyone! I'm an experienced CFO and Controller, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, author, and Penn State MBA candidate concentrating in AI Strategy and Implementation. My career has centered on financial leadership, operational excellence, and building sustainable organizations. I'm seeking to acquire an established, profitable accounting, tax, outsourced financial services, or business consulting firm with: Experienced personnel and established management infrastructure. Strong recurring revenue and consistent profitability. A succession-minded owner willing to support a structured transition. Opportunities to expand CFO advisory services, operational excellence consulting, and AI-enabled solutions. My primary geographic focus is the DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland region, although I'm open to the right opportunity elsewhere. I intend to be an active owner-operator, preserving what makes an acquired business successful while leveraging my financial leadership experience and AI/Operational Excellence platform to drive sustainable growth. I'm also interested in connecting with experienced equity investors who value partnering with operating executives to build long-term enterprise value. For those who've acquired accounting or professional services firms, what were your biggest lessons regarding seller transitions, employee retention, or structuring equity partnerships? Looking forward to connecting, learning, and contributing!
