We've all hit the 'bank says yes... but' moment. Mine is: they'll lend 70%, but I need to raise 30% equity upfront (lacking the real estate collateral they prefer). Which puts me in private lending territory. I hope to find those ‘hidden gems’ stories from Australian members of the this group that have some experience with creative deal structures, and I'm hoping a few of you have successfully raised capital from private lenders and can share what actually worked… and what didn't. Specifically curious about: • The journey finding the RIGHT private lender (not just any lender) • Lessons learned you wish you knew going in • Do's and don'ts from real experience If you've done this before and are willing to share###-###-#### minutes over coffee (my shout: here on the Gold Coast our cafes are pretty good, haha) or a call, I'd be incredibly grateful.
