I'm a self-funded searcher and just built a website to funnel business owners (and their brokers). Any feedback appreciated.
What am I missing?

www.airflowventures.com

I’m committed to closing on the purchase of an HVAC Service (including Plumbing & Electrical) within the next 6 months. This business will have a rich history and track record of sales growth, and ripe with opportunity to improve operationally. I’m targeting SDE of $750k-$2M.

I think your 'why' is missing / needs to be added. Make a compelling case for why you are the 'right' buyer for an HVAC or plumbing company, and these reasons need to resonate with the owner of the business (assuming that is your target audience for the website). Ex: faster time to close, can talk your talk, higher valuation, w/e. Another way to do this is list out what 'problems' owners have and how you can uniquely solve them (liquidity, legacy problems, taking it to the next level, creating middle management layer, buying power, creating a platform). You're going to need to differentiate from other buyers and it seems your experience and focus in the space is critical. This should be your home page.

I think you can consolidate the individual bio pages into the aboutus page. The aboutus page doesn't give enough info and requires someone to click to 'learn more' but I didn't even see that button at first glance. Just include the bio on the page.

On the home page, the button 'Why Parnter with us' takes you to the aboutus page. I would have expected to get an answer to the question about why an owner should partner with you.

Great work and good luck!

Hi ^redacted‌ - Congratulations on starting your search! Regarding the website, since it might be temporary (closing after your search?) then you may be able to get by with it. Other than that, it has some decent parts, but also needs some attention. The design is already dated. Some images are dark, blurry, cut off and/or non-uniform in size. Some of the text does not line up well. Some of the stock imagess are, well, obviously stock images. There is more. You want to position yourself in a positive light and draw people in. This site does not do that for you. I see the website is built on Wix. In addition to being in the industry since the late '90's, I'm also a Wix expert, having used that paltform for about a dozen years. I hope the feedback is helpful. I'm happy to chat. Please do feel free to reach out. Thanks - Jon, redacted www.AllFantastic.com (built with Wix!)
