Failed Deal in Chicago + Another Shout Out for Live Oak Bank

I am running a self-funded search in Chicago and was set to close in January on a small Chicago-based specialty food company. The seller pulled out at the last moment after I'd worked on the deal for several months. Am trying to accelerate identifying my next deal so wanted to get the word out here.

High level looking for:
*Geography: Northern IL/Chicagoland
*Size: $400K-$800K EBITDA
*Industry: Not industry focused since I am geographically constrained though am looking to leverage my CPG marketing/sales/gen management background

Also, though it has been said before, I would be remiss if I didn't thank Live Oak bank for their incredible help and support to date with my SBA loan. I have been working with Lisa Forrest and her team since last summer looking at deals and finally (almost) putting this one together. They have been true business partners and I will certainly work with them on my next one.

Lis, we were so sorry this one fell out. You did a great job with diligence and from my perspective you handled the process is a very thoughtful manner trying to take seller goals into consideration. Sometimes the personalities are tough. Live Oak is here when you're ready with your next deals so keep grinding. redacted ###-###-#### .
