Hi everyone — I’m Andrew Metros, founder of Metros Operating Partners. After 11 years helping operate and grow a $45 million family-owned B2B equipment distribution business, I recently launched a self-funded acquisition search focused on becoming the owner-operator of one great company. I have worked across commercial strategy and day-to-day operations, including sales, vendor development, OEM and private-label sourcing, international distribution, warehousing and logistics, process improvement, and team leadership. I particularly enjoy identifying growth opportunities and working with a team to translate them into stronger revenue, margins, and execution. I am primarily seeking B2B distribution, industrial, and commercial service businesses in the New York tri-state area. My typical target has: • $5 million to $50 million of revenue • $1 million to $5 million of EBITDA • Enduring customer and supplier relationships • A strong team and established market position • An owner seeking a thoughtful succession solution My intention is to own and operate the business, respect its history and relationships, support its employees, and invest in its next stage of growth. I am financing the search myself and expect to work with aligned capital partners on a deal-by-deal basis once the right opportunity is identified.
