Experience with brokers help

I'm looking for deals in a specific industry but doing part-time self-funded search. Financing the deal isn't an issue just want to keep working. Anyone with experience getting brokers or others on board to help with the search? Calder M&A seems to be the only game in town on that front.

1. This game really cannot be played as a "part-timer" 2. I avoid brokers at all cost, build out in-house deal sourcing team with AI and focus on off market deals, less competition That's my 2 cents
