Experience with a towing company?

I've now seen a number of towing companies with compelling financials, does anyone have experiences in the industry? From my point of view, the companies appear relatively stable with attractive multiples. I'm particularly interested in companies that skew towards heavy duty towing (i.e., wrecker support for large trucks).

Some of my family has been in this industry for about 40 years. It can be profitable, but there is a lot of liability and operating costs. In my opinion, there are other industries that provide better profit without the hassle.
