I'm based out of New Orleans, have prior finance experience (on the buy-side non-profit side). Thinking of doing a search fund, and most deals are: restaurants (not a fit for me), smaller busineses (sub 2M), and then shipyards (which I know very little about operationally, but I do know boats!). Was wondering if anyone had experience with this industry.
