Experience in 3PL to expand in Panama

I chose an early retirement from Corporate America, and one path I am exploring as an investor is Panama and, in particular, 3PL. Is anyone working with 3PLs in the US who might want to expand in Panama and take advantage of the free trade zones? thx

I know of a freight forwarder in Miami that has a big office in Panama. He was thinking of selling the biz and retiring. Not sure if he did or not. Let me know if you want more details.
