experience buying a unionized company?

I'm looking to buy a commercial electrician business and they have a unionized workforce. looking for folks with experienced buying a unionized small business and understand if it can be done or if it is too risky?

The main focus should be fully understanding the ramifications of the collective bargaining agreement the employees are apart of. Especially in IL, a very pro labor state, buying into a business with a union should be a carefully weighed decision after seeing all the requirements that it comes with

I've actually just found a business that's got 50+ employees but a small fraction of them (8 to be exact) are indicated as union on the CIM. I'd be curious to learn more about your process. Fellow Boothie, feel free to DM.
