Expanding Manufacturing Operations Into The US

We are a small UK manufacturer of high-quality bespoke goods and considering establishing manufacturing capacity in the US. Where we would look to sell goods through local partners.
Does anyone have experience of doing something similar and/or know of any good resources for supporting something like this. Such as commerce networks specifically catered to facilitating potential local partner introductions etc.?
