Expanding Manufacturing Operations Into The US

We are a small UK manufacturer of high-quality bespoke goods and considering establishing manufacturing capacity in the US. Where we would look to sell goods through local partners. Does anyone have experience of doing something similar and/or know of any good resources for supporting something like this. Such as commerce networks specifically catered to facilitating potential local partner introductions etc.? Thanks

Clarifying the type of goods is helpful in pointing you in the right direction, whether it's tradeshows, distributors, rep networks, etc. How a toilet is sold is significantly different from jam which is significantly different from wood veneers. Our experience working with European brands is they under estimate the complexity and competiveness of the US market, and over estimate potential (depending on the category, they extrapolate a New York or Los Angeles to the entire country). Your product category may also lend itself to specific regions for a trained workforce, supply chain, etc. and could also lend itself to economic development incentives.
