Examples of Closing Documents

I've read a good amount about small business transactions, but coming from primarily an engineering background, I'm still struggling to grasp some of the granular accounting details. Even understanding specifically how working capital plays into the transaction can throw me for a loop from time to time. Does anyone have some case studies that might break down the finance/accounting in detail? Or even some closing statements I might be able to look over and digest?
