Despite rapid growth, the rationale for launching and investing in emerging market Search Funds is still sparsely documented and discussed. In this article, we present a framework for evaluating such opportunities, with the hope of providing aspiring searchers and investors a more structured analytical approach, and catalyzing more Search Funds in new places.
