Currently evaluating an Amazon-native ecommerce acquisition opportunity and beginning conversations with potential equity and strategic partners. The business is a premium handbag/accessories brand currently doing approximately $1.6M in revenue and ~$295K in SDE at an asking multiple of roughly 2.0x. The company currently operates with 6 active SKUs and generates sales entirely through Amazon distribution. What initially drew me to the opportunity was the combination of strong customer validation, premium product positioning, lean operations, and what appears to be meaningful operational and growth runway relative to the current scale of the business. The company has historically operated with a very small footprint and limited infrastructure, which I believe creates an interesting optimization opportunity for the right operator/investor group. The seller is also offering flexible terms, including inventory consignment and a seller note component, which creates additional structuring flexibility as I continue evaluating potential capital stack options. I’m currently continuing diligence, evaluating acquisition structures, and speaking with ecommerce-focused investors/operators who may have interest in participating strategically and/or financially. Would especially value conversations with ecommerce operators, Amazon/FBA investors, consumer brand operators, and capital partners experienced with non-SBA ecommerce acquisitions.
