This month: A Tale of Two Acquisitions
Brendan Feinberg recently acquired not one but two hardwood flooring companies: GameDay Floors in Georgia and Trident Surfacing in Florida. They install, maintain, and refinish hardwood basketball courts for schools, colleges, and athletic facilities. Before buying a business, Brendan had a rich background in finance and M&A.
Daniel Giles will interview him on three things: what it took to buy two businesses in the same industry back to back, how each deal process actually went (one financed with an SBA loan, one with a private lender), and what operating looks like now that he owns them.

Getting in: The front doors will be locked. Park anywhere in the lot, then walk around the side of the building to the left. The side doors are about halfway back, and someone will be there to let you in.
