Roles and Responsibilities - Participate in deal sourcing and screening processes to enhance proprietary deal flow for our Entrepreneur Operators in Residence (searchers). - Assess/evaluate targeted industries, individual target companies, develop investment theses on targets that fit True North Search’s investment mandate - Assess/evaluate business models, key drivers, and other relevant quantitative and qualitative metrics - Conduct strategic, operational, and financial analysis and build detailed valuation models - Help to draft/prepare information memorandum and marketing presentations for True North Search’s investor group - Participate in due-diligence program, liaising with advisors and DD processes, r - Aid with the True North Search accelerator operations Required profile: - Highly motivated individuals who have a strong and proven interest in private equity, finance, and operations - Can do attitude towards research, problem-solvers and independent thinkers - Strong oral and written communication skills in English - Individuals able to work autonomously to complete projects, with a high sense of integrity What You Get From This Opportunity - Provides a running start into M&A, private equity, and entrepreneurship through acquisition .- Ability to work from home or in a remote environment with flexible hours - Opportunity to work with seasoned professionals - Access to proprietary tools, assets for acquisition entrepreneurship - Potential to leverage your learnings into a thesis topic - Ability to utilize your intellect, energy, and drive to make an impact in the SME sector
