What is Searchfunder.com?

Do I need an MBA to join?

ETA Conferences

So I know of the Booth/Kellogg ETA conference that happened in April (redacted), and the Southeast ETA conference happening in September (redacted). I would like to get involved and attend some of these before I begin my search. Are there additional conferences anyone would recommend and have found useful in their search?

Andrew, the next one coming up is the SouthEast ETA conference (hosted by Darden/Duke/UNC). In the Fall, I would expect Ross to host one. Harvard and Stanford usually host conference at the end of year. MIT does one at the end of the Winter.

Matthias, in the about section, here is what it says: "This conference is designed to educate, encourage and equip current and recent MBA students and mid-career professionals in the Southeast US to pursue the acquisition and operation of a small or mid-sized business. The event will bring together business students, search fund entrepreneurs, search fund investors, faculty, and other professionals in the entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA) community to explore this rapidly growing market."
