Hello,

I'm sorry if this was posted before, but I'm a new searcher. I'd like to start building a list of companies. What is the best tool to do that? Just Google? or does IBIS world help with that?

Also, what is your favourite CRM? Salesforce?

Welcome, Bob! On the topic of CRMs, Salesforce will likely be on the expensive end. It's best if you can unify your website, CRM, and marketing all on one platform. I'd look at Hubspot and Zoho as they have a free tier for CRM and native marketing automation modules. Many other CRM providers have prebuilt marketing automation tool integrations at a low cost. I prefer a unified approach.

I find googling ____ (industry type) and ____ (location) usually brings up many results, the more specific you are in terms of industry and location, the better the list. Searching via job ad sites for those typical roles within your preferred business and location also lists many companies that may be of interest.
