We are looking at a niche fintech lending business for sale with $3m+ of EBITDA and asking around 6x ($15-20m purchase price). Super interesting niche asset class, consistently strong YoY origination growth (15%+ last 3 years), very low default rates, and 25+ years of operating history. Beyond this, have come across other lending businesses for sale and believe there could be a larger roll-up play as well.

My partner and I have significant experience in private credit/fintech lending and roll-ups. For context, I built a fintech consumer lending platform that has originated $500m+ in loans since inception. I also did a buy and build in e-commerce software, rolling up 9 software companies in a span of 2 years (we raised from 2 PE funds). My partner has significant data science/AI experience and built/sold a roll-up in the bookkeeping space.

Would love any feedback on deal structure/financing strategy for this or love to connect with any private equity / family office investors that would look at this opportunity. A traditional SBA loan is obviously too small for this so we are thinking it will need to be primarily equity based financing.
