Hi - it depends on what type of structure you are looking to employ and what your eventual capital stack will look like - do you need investors in a self funded search to help write your 10% SBA equity check? Are you raising a traditional search fund where they are providing both search and acquisition capital? Are you an independent sponsor obtaining traditional financing and raising money for a much larger equity check? It's not one size fits all, even within these categories and the terms can vary.
