Hi everyone — I’m exploring Entrepreneur-in-Residence / CEO-in-Residence opportunities with family offices, independent sponsors, or small private equity groups focused on acquiring a single, established small-to-lower-middle-market business. I’m specifically interested in a structure where I am paid during the search and step into the full-time CEO / operating role post-acquisition. I am not raising a traditional search fund. My background is operations-focused, and I’m strongest in situations where a business is already cash-flowing and transitioning from an owner-operator or retiring founder. I enjoy working closely with employees and customers, stabilizing operations, and carrying the business forward with discipline and care. Target profile: • Service-based or “boring” businesses • Recurring or repeat revenue • ~$500K–$5M in revenue • Owner transition situations where a long-term operator is needed I’m open to Florida-based businesses or remote-friendly operations, and I’m particularly interested in partnerships with a clear operating seat and equity participation over time. If you’re an investor or sponsor seeking a hands-on operator to lead an acquisition and run the business long-term, I’d welcome a conversation. Thank you.

Talia, this is a very competitive space, with some companies choosing candidates based on specific alignment in areas of interest, so keep that in mind. Check out SIG Partners and NextGen Growth Partners. Good luck!

Thanks ^redacted‌ - ^redacted‌ - you don't typically get paid during your search unless you raise a traditional search fund... however, some of the EIR programs in the ETA space will pre-commit capital to your deal (in addition to providing you with mentorship and guidance while you lock up a deal). Talk to ^redacted‌ at Shareholder Ventures and ^redacted‌ at Entrepreneurial Capital .... as they are two of the best resources in the space for guidance on EIR Programs (and their respective funds have their own programs).
