Can anyone recommend a good ERP software for a small manufacturing company. We have a relatively simple operation but need to track production process of customer orders, product bill-of-materials, sales etc. Our current solution seems very dated, limited and expensive. Am wondering if anyone has experience with better solution designed specifically for small companies that might be a better fit? Many thanks

Hi Andrew. I know of a perfect and most comprehensive budget friendly platform in the market. Please reach me to discuss. 1. Portfolio Intelligence • Unified data across ERP, CRM, HRIS, and finance • Comparable KPIs across all companies • Early warning signals for margin compression, churn, and labor inefficiency 2. Predictive Analytics • Forecasts revenue, margin, labor, and cash • Identifies anomalies before they hit the P&L • Highlights operational bottlenecks 3. Value Creation Engine • Shows which plants, customers, SKUs, or teams are driving or destroying value • Quantifies improvement opportunities • Creates a repeatable playbook that can be deployed across all holdings 4. Faster Diligence & Stronger Post‑Close Execution • Accelerates quality of earnings • Reveals integration risks Provides operators with a clear roadmap for the first 100 days

There are many options in all flavors, but start by researching Katana. It'll integrate to your financial software (Xero or Quickbooks) as well as other common tools. Easier to deploy, handles build to order and assemblies, lot tracking if needed, and processing stage (and timing). We've not implemented it but dug deep into it for consideration.
