Does anyone have experience executing an acquisition rollup with e-commerce companies?

It’s a good time to be a buyer in the e-commerce sector if you have:

- Capital (raising debt and equity is difficult for e-com rollups at the moment)

- Expertise in the sector / product category you are targeting

- Expertise in growing DTC/CPG/retail businesses

- Sufficient management resource to manage each of the acquired businesses, or a plan for keeping the founders involved as part of the business post-closing

- An advantage that you will use to accelerate the growth of each brand post-acquisition

The winners in this space tend not to be large portfolios of disparate brands, but *individual brands themselves* that break out and dwarf the rest of the portfolio

I brokered $125M in deal value with my own brokerage, previously worked for Empire Flippers, built my own FBA brand to $10k/month profit. I also know the founder of Goja/101Commerce....did you not hear what happened with Thrasio and the other aggregators?
