Most business buyers are overly optimistic and overconfident.

Don’t be like most buyers..

Instead:

DO —>Expect expenses to rise. —>Expect revenue to drop. —>Expect team issues to arise. —>Expect things to break.

DON’T —>Assume you’ll be able to cut opex meaningfully. —>Assume your new growth plan will 2x business in the first quarter. —>Assume you can install an operator and the ‘work’ is done. —>Assume everything will be smooth.

Plan for challenges to ensure a successful acquisition.
