Does anyone have experience with Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC)?

Looking at an acquisition of a business that procures WOTC credits for small / medium sized businesses. Any and all insight here would be appreciated as far as how long the program will be extended / sustainability of business model / etc.

^redacted‌ my Firm has experience with WOTC's but substantially all of the work done around the eligibility for the tax credits is done and maintained by the third-party payroll companies our clients use. The payroll companies collect the relevant data when employees are hired and it is really efficient. My Firm will consult around the WOTC's but we do not collect data or calculate the credits.
