Working for a search fund via an internship. I want to see if there's a specific way of reaching out to firms. Is there a format that one must follow when initiating a cold call? What are some tips you would suggest when doing so?

Yes, I keep it stupid simple. Confirm who I'm speaking to, state my name and company, then ask if they're interested in selling.

Yes, been investing in healthcare for 30 years. If by owners, you also mean Docs then that adds a wrinkle.
