IDK about globally. I helped my family acquire 25 restaurants (all the same franchise) across 3 states. Bob's advice is pretty solid. Usually, economies of scale in admin/back office (Accounting, HR, payroll). Maintaining culture is key

I advise my clients to purchase a single, strong company first, improve it, put systems in place and THEN consider other acquisitions. Don't bite off more than you can handle at one time.
