Does anyone have experience with deal structure advice with investors?

Hey everyone,
I'm currently navigating an intriguing deal and could use your insights. Foreign investors are interested in my $10MM EV/$1MM EBITDA opportunity, but not being US citizens, can only contribute just under a 20% equity partner from what they say.
While they can meet my portion on buyers' cash infusion to get the banks to work with me, they're proposing a 75-95% ownership stake, citing it as standard practice.
I'm torn. On one hand, I'm confident in my ability to put the deal together, and the seller trusts me explicitly. However, given the circumstances and the fact that these investors are not US citizens, I'm questioning the fairness of the proposed ownership split.
What are your thoughts? Am I being overly cautious, or does their request seem disproportionate? Your perspectives would be invaluable as I navigate this complex negotiation.
Thanks
