Hi all,

I am in the very early stages of a potential deal with a healthcare company and looking forward to learning from people experienced in the industry.. What type of questions to ask, what to focus on...?

Never been in the area, so talking to people in the field would definitely help.

Thanks!

Really depends on what area of healthcare the business is in. Agree with Garrett that sourcing experts will help in understanding the risk factors for the particular business. If you're focused on companies being reimbursed by insurance for services I would look closely at their payer mix and reimbursement trends of the most common procedural codes.

Marc, happy to provide any insights I may be able to. Behavioral healthcare has really been my area of expertise, but my partner and I are both familiar with healthcare as a whole. Feel free to shoot me a note at redacted
