Does anyone have experience selling structural engineering firms?

I am working with a structural engineering firm here in San Diego. The owner has built a great team, processes, and backlog. His profits are strong. I am looking to get connected with buyers in this space. The owner is willing to stay on, do an equity roll, Are there platform companies in this space that are looking for profitable bolt-ons?

Any advice or direction is much appreciated.
