Does anyone have data on the HVAC service multiples?

Does anyone have any data on multiples for commercial HVAC service companies? I have heard historically 3x to 5x, but lately I have been hearing 10x to 12x….

I ran DealStats over the last 24 months (151 transactions) and also the last 5 years (339 transactions) and the median EBITDA multiple was exactly 4x for both searches. Hope this helps.
