Does anyone have any insights on Brokers that also serve buy-side?

It has been difficult to find brokers that are willing to represent Buy Side. While I understand that the money is to be made in "Sell Side' I have been trying to find Buy side brokers to work with. My tactic so far has been using deal aggregator platforms (Axial, Rejigg, Bizbuysell, etc), however, I'd like to find more to get Buy Side Brokers to get a reference on their business models, fees and overall fit to work with.

Thanks

We are building a tool that will essentially do all the work of a buy side broker and let you avoid the success fee. We may also offer buy side services but would only do it for people who can afford a monthly retainer. Buy side is inherently tough to all the points above because most people don’t want to pay for all the grunt work it takes to do it effectively / have the patience. From my experience at various PE firms, it is just that most people don’t like the typical terms until they close an incredibly accretive deal (which can take as long as a year sometimes :(

There are some intermediaries who will run a process for you (Calder Capital is one that I know does this). However, this is going to be a pay-up-front process, and it's not cheap. There's not going to be anything that's analogous to residential real estate, where buy-side intermediaries work mostly or entirely on contingency.
