Hi Searchfunder Community,

I'm currently putting together an investor pitch and one-pager for my search fund. This is specifically to fund a deal. Could anyone share examples or templates that have worked well for you? I’m looking for effective ways to communicate our value proposition to potential investors.

Scott - I work with all sorts of searchers assisting throughout the diligence process with more of a private equity lens. I help searchers with investment memos, deal teasers, LBO models (upside / base / downside case), KPI metrics / customer deep-dives and often rollover 100% of my compensation into the searcher's deal as sweat equity and even continue to help out post-closing with quarterly board packages, monthly financial reporting, 100-day value creation plans, and ongoing KPI metrics. ^redacted‌ thanks for the tag. While I have a number of pitch deck examples etc, I haven't yet pulled together a one-pager or deck specific for traditional search I'm afraid. ^redacted‌ happy to connect and share what I have if you believe it will be useful.
