Do you have knowledge of a valuation tool that keeps track of the evolution of the Ebitda multiples by sector? (US/Canada) I would be interested in having a dynamic view of ‘comparable deals’, especially in those times of uncertainty and aggressive market sell-off.

It would be helpful to know if you're looking for a free/freemium service or a paid/premium service. On the paid/premium side Scalar https://scalar.io/ is the best & most comprehensive that I'm aware of & everyone should check them out. That was a little promotion for a friend who is the CEO.

On the free/freemium side, there's lots of tools that are half baked at best for startups to midmarket & beyond. I was asked by some grad school students to do user acceptance testing (UAT) on a tool they'd developed & were going to launch a startup with. years ago. It was really good but after running a few scenarios & giving them feedback, I never heard from them again. I have yet to find a good free tool. So, hopefully someone who knows of good one will comment. Here's a few examples of the half-baked tools.

Hi Raban, Damodaran frequently publishes Enterprise Value Multiples by Sector (US) on his page at Stern and I think you will find it a great resource: http://pages.stern.nyu.edu/~adamodar/New_Home_Page/datafile/vebitda.html I hope this helps!
