I could use some guidance in making sure that I don’t sound like a complete amateur when sending my pre-application to capital partners for a $20m acquisition loan. It’s well collateralized with real estate and fixed assets.
My main concern is over what the going rates and terms are for acquisitions, and what common deal structures are in this size. What should I know before making a request? Any mistakes that will disqualify me or make me look stupid (and therefore take me out of the running in the future)?
Do you have experience talking with capital partners?
