Do search fund investors require an MBA degree for Europe-based searchers?

I was wondering if US-based investors (where MBA degree is more common) require MBA degree from Europe-based searchers (where MBA is less common), even though a searcher has relevant professional experience.

Depends on the investor, some have strict requirements and others are more flexible. I would personally invest in searchers who do not have an MBA assuming they plan to do a focuses search on the industry they have experience in.
