Do I Need to Register Delaware LLC in Mass. While Searching There?

Hello all. I plan on forming a Delaware LLC for my search fund. For the duration of my search I will live in Boston, so I was wondering if I needed to register my LLC in the state. I found the following on the website of a law firm: 'If you are a “foreign” Limited Liability Company, such as a Delaware LLC, you must register in Massachusetts if you do business here.' I will raise money for my search in Boston, but I am not sure if that counts as "doing business". Thank you for reading my rookie question!
