Coming to this country 3 years ago, I felt mostly inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit and the collaboration with some of the best and the brightest minds. Boy o boy. Trying to find anyone who would take a step an inch out of their comfort zone and to put the money where their mouth is has proven itself almost impossible. You can throw the most profitable, elaborate and thought out model at an average American and his response is going to be “What? Money? Me? I don’t even have a penny to feed my family”. Seriously? I think Albania and New Guinea are more entrepreneurial minded than whatever this home of the free. Sure, everyone wants to “lend a hand” for 500 an hour, that’s exactly what we need. Once there is a chance to make real money, the proud US of A can only afford to cheer from the stands, not too loud of course.
