Has anyone bought or done due diligence on a business that is a second chance employer (hires people with criminal records)? I'm trying to consider how to due diligence such a business effectively.

First of all, good for you for taking on such an endeavor. I was a minority investor and advisor to the CEO that hired second chance employees. I was impressed by his commitment even after some terrible outcomes. I would suspect you'll make as many bad hiring decisions as you will good ones, so as an investor or key partner (which I was not), I'd think alignment from the top down would be critical. I believe there are agencies that you can tap to help with your endeavor including possible incentives. Sorry not sure if this is helpful.
